What is the NUTRI-STREAM and how does this water carbonator work?
The NUTRI-STREAM is a soda maker made of high-quality stainless steel that turns tap water into fresh sparkling water in seconds. Thanks to the patented Air-Charge system, the bottle is simply inserted – no twisting, no spilling. Press the button for 1–3 seconds, and you're done.
What is the difference between a sparkling water maker and a water cooler?
A sparkling water maker like the NUTRI-STREAM adds carbon dioxide (CO₂) to water, turning it into sparkling water. A water dispenser, on the other hand, dispenses water – usually without carbonation. The NUTRI-STREAM is a soda maker: it produces fresh sparkling water at the touch of a button.
Which drinks can I use the NUTRI-STREAM sparkling water maker for?
The NUTRI-STREAM is suitable for water, juices, cocktails, and other drinks. Important: Please add flavorings, syrup, or fruit only after carbonation to avoid spillage.
Can I use NUTRI-STREAM to prepare Aperol Spritz or other cocktails?
Yes! With NUTRI-STREAM, you can make sparkling water and then use it for cocktails like Aperol Spritz. Add the sparkling water separately to the Aperol, Prosecco, or other ingredients.
Which CO₂ cylinders are compatible with the NUTRI-STREAM?
The NUTRI-STREAM is compatible with all commercially available 60L CO₂ screw cylinders with standard threading.
How long does a CO₂ cylinder last?
A standard 60L CO₂ cylinder is sufficient for up to 60 liters of sparkling water, depending on the desired carbonation level – this is equivalent to approximately 100 plastic bottles of 0.5L each.
Is the included bottle BPA-free?
Yes. The included 1-liter PET bottle is completely BPA-free and explosion-proof. Maximum operating pressure: 8 bar, maximum temperature: 40 °C.
Can I order more bottles?
Yes. Additional NUTRI-STREAM soda maker bottles can be ordered in the webshop.
How much water can I carbonate at once?
The bottle holds 1 liter. For carbonation, fill it with a maximum of 800 ml of water to leave enough space for the carbon dioxide.
Can I put ice cubes or fruit in the bottle?
Yes, the bottle is also suitable for ice cubes and fruits – to flavour the water before carbonating. Please add syrup or liquid flavourings only after the carbonation process.
How sustainable is the NUTRI-STREAM sparkling water maker?
With NUTRI-STREAM, you replace up to 100 plastic bottles per CO₂ cylinder. This saves plastic waste, transport emissions from carrying crates, and is easy on your wallet.
